As soon as I saw this recipe, I knew what I was making for dinner! It’s even better the next day!

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.

Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the pork chops on both sides and set aside.

In the same skillet, cook the onion and garlic until translucent.

Add the flour to make a roux, stirring for a minute.

Gradually add the milk and chicken broth, stirring until thickened. Remove from the fire.

Place half of the potatoes in a saucepan. Top with half the sauce and cheese.

Repeat with remaining potatoes, sauce, and cheese. Sprinkle with paprika.

Layer the pork chops.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.

Remove the foil and cook for another 15 to 20 minutes until the pork and potatoes are tender.

Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Garnish with parsley.
