One day, silverfish moved into our house. As a biology student, I quickly identified these creatures, realizing that they were not unusual flycatchers or cockroaches. I even identified their species! However, I didn’t know that these creatures had unique characteristics.
On the Internet you can find a lot of information about silverfish, ancient insects that existed before the dinosaurs. In fact, they appeared much later – around 100 to 110 million years ago, along with ants, and much later than mammals. The peculiarity of silverfish is that they are very primitive, but at the same time extremely adapted to survival.
