When I don’t want to have to think about dinner, this is my go-to recipe

Ingredients:

4 pork chops
1 pack ranch dressing mix
1 can (10.75 oz) cream of chicken soup (condensed version) or cream of mushroom soup
Instructions:
1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
Optional step: Brown pork chops before putting into slow cooker for enhanced look and flavor.
2. In the slow cooker, combine the ranch dressing mix and the can of cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup. Stir well until the dressing mix is fully incorporated into the soup, creating a creamy mixture.
3. Place the seasoned pork chops into the slow cooker, ensuring they are coated with the creamy mixture.
4. Close the slow cooker with its lid and set it to the desired cooking temperature. For tender pork chops, cook on low heat for 6 hours or on high heat for 3 hours. Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the pork chops and the specific slow cooker model.
5. Once the pork chops are fully cooked and tender, carefully remove them from the slow cooker and transfer them to a serving dish.
If desired, you can thicken the sauce remaining in the slow cooker to create a richer gravy-like consistency. To do this, mix a tablespoon of cornstarch with a tablespoon of cold water until smooth. Then, add the cornstarch mixture to the slow cooker, stirring well. Cook on high for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.

Serve the slow cooker creamy pork chops hot, spooning the thickened sauce over them. They pair well with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables.
